We are a Golf Simulator and Virtual Reality venue with a bar that has something for everyone to try. 

 

SHOULD I MAKE A BOOKING?

We strongly recommend you book in advance.

We will always try to accomodate for walk-ins however will be subject to availability.

 

CAN CHILDREN GET INVOLVED?

Absolutely! We cater for all ages and abilities, we recommend children minimum 6 years of age. Games are limited for those younger. We are a family friendly venue.

All children (under the age of 16) must be accompanied by an Adult at all times (exception - golf lesson/s).

Please get in contact for an epic Children’s Birthday Party.

 

GROUP BOOKING

Yes, we encourage group bookings. Epic Arena is a fun space with something for everyone, spectators are encouraged with Virtual Reality games that are amusing to watch or for those that like to give the odd encouraging tip from the golf simulator spaces. Booths are available however subject to availability so make sure you book in advance to save disappointment.

CLUB HIRE

We have a selection of left/right handed clubs, a staff member will help allocate suitable clubs. 

You can bring your own clubs in, we do ask they be in clean condition (staff may ask them be removed from premises should they not be in a clean condition). 

Tees and balls are provided at the venue and are the only ones to be used on premises. Balls also available to purchase along with golf gloves.

 

CLOTHING/FOOTWEAR 

We suggest you wear comfortable clothing. 

All participating guests need to wear enclosed shoes. Footwear needs to be worn at all times in venue.

Hats/caps may be asked to be removed at Epic Arena.

 

 

DRINKS/FOOD

We have drinks and food available to purchase and order. Personal water bottles and infant milks allowed.

We do not allow outside food into our venue unless approved by with a staff member.

 

 

 

 

HEALTH

If epileptic or any existing heart conditions we do not recommend a Virtual Reality experience. 

Your ability and comfort level is at your discretion whether you participate. We suggest you seek medical advice prior to use should you have any concerns.

Eye wear such as glasses and contact lenses may be worn while using Virtual Reality goggles and we recommend they are used, we suggest thin framed glasses for your level of comfort.

Some Virtual Reality games may incur a feeling of nausea or motion sickness. 

Epic Arena Pty Ltd does not take any liability for injury or nausea.

 

PARKING & PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Epic Arena Pty Ltd is ideally situated for every guests transport needs.

Unpaid time limited street parking on Melbourne Road Newport, also Mason Street Newport. A disabled car space is conveniently located at the rear of our venue where disabled access is eligible.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Epic Arena will courtesy serve all guests, no one will be denied service on the basis of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religion. Management may refuse service or access on a guests inappropriate behaviour or dress attire. Epic Arena is a family friendly venue.

Epic Arena is a fully licensed venue, if you appear to be under 18 years of age you will be required to show suitable Identification - Acceptable forms of Identification; Valid Drivers License, Proof of Age card, Australia Passport.

Guests will not be permitted entry into Epic Arena venue if deemed or suspected intoxicated. 

 

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to reservation.

There is no guarantee you and guests will complete your round of golf in allocated time. Virtual Reality is timed to 45 minute time slots.

Cancellations are non refundable however booking reservations can be amended - not subject to Public Holidays or Competition time slots (prior to 24 hours notice of change of mind). 

 

All property and equipment is that of Epic Arena Pty Ltd and must remain on site.

 

We are a smoke/vape free venue and at no time patrons are to smoke/vape inside or within 5 metres of external doorways. 

 

You are liable to pay for any damages or damaged property of Epic Arena Pty Ltd should you be at fault of mistreatment.

If a staff member suspects you are not treating property with care you may be asked to leave and pay for any damages. Management reserves the rights to refuse continuation of equipment.

Any faults need to be reported to a staff member and discontinuation of use of property until rectified.

 

Epic Arena Pty Ltd is not responsible for any loss, damage or omissions that may occur while on premise.

SAFETY & HYGIENE 

 

Epic Arena is an environment that welcomes all age groups, parents are responsible for the supervision of their minors to ensure an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Epic Arena is a safe and friendly environment, suitable safe swing and designated Virtual Reality areas will be assigned to patrons upon arrival. Strictly one player swinging at any time must be adhered to. Common sense of use of pool table and dart board space.

All participants must adhere to verbal instructions given by our friendly staff or safety warnings that are displayed in our venue. 

If you are unwell, please stay home, our Epic Arena Team will also be doing the same.

We encourage the use of contactless payment. 

If you have your own golf glove we recommend you bring it to use, alternatively we have golf gloves available to purchase.

Sanitiser is provided for guests and all equipment will be sanitised regularly. If you think something needs attention please approach one of our friendly staff members.

 

RECREATION & RISKS WARNING

 

Reading and acknowledging will suffice as signature. Epic Arena Pty Ltd is recreational, before you participate in an activity at our venue educate and understand the risks. Participation without caution and incorrect use of equipment may result in personal injury.

 

WARNING UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW AND FAIR TRADING ACT 2012

Under the Australian Consumer Law (Victoria), several statutory guarantees apply to the supply of certain goods and services. These guarantees mean that the supplier named on this form is required to ensure that the recreational services it supplies to you-

are rendered with due care and skill; and

are reasonably fit for any purpose which you, either expressly or by implication, make known to the supplier; and

might reasonably be expected to achieve any result you have made known to the supplier.

Under section 22 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012, the supplier is entitled to ask you to agree that these statutory guarantees do not apply to you. If you sign this form, you will be agreeing that your rights to sue the supplier under the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 if you are killed or injured because the services provided were not in accordance with these guarantees, are excluded, restricted or modified in the way set out in this form.

NOTE: The change to your rights, as set out in this form, does not apply if your death or injury is due to gross negligence on the supplier's part. Gross negligence, in relation to an act or omission, means doing the act or omitting to do an act with reckless disregard, with or without consciousness, for the consequences of the act or omission. See regulation 5 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Regulations 2012 and section 22(3)(b) of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012.
